Love the awakening energy and truth of your teachings Marina. I pushed through my ‘Narc Template™ ways’ on Friday! A client forgot to pay for her kids session and I went into the sickening feeling of shame around asking for the money! In the past I have agonized over this type of thing…In the past I have ‘over-sweetened’ the ask, put the blame on me as an oversight, apologized or not asked for payment at all! On Friday I put in a Venmo request for the payment & she paid right away! My clients do endorse me, sing my praises and spread the word about my work & school…it is me who stands in my own way with feelings around not standing out/being seen too much, not entitled/worthy of putting up prices, asking for help & giving myself permission to expect the best!
