I’m going to repost this because I don’t think I made myself clear on Facebook. See the picture above? This was the Facebook post. And it has a profound meaning. Here is why you gotta wear that crown. And yes I’m furious as I write this:
Did you know that ActionAid are asking for help to support women who have suffered in Fiji because of the Cyclone, because, “Our extensive work in disaster relief knows only too well that in times of an emergency, violence against women always increases.”
“60% of women aged 15-49 in the Pacific have been victims of “intimate partner violence. Worse, a devastating percentage of girls and boys are brought up believing that violence against women is normal.”
A global manufacturer of condoms had adverts running for their XXL condoms that depicted plasters around the injured edges of a woman’s mouth…Implying that injuring a woman for sexual pleasure is…OK? To be applauded?
The United Nations Population Fund released a report recently. It found that, in the Philippines and Thailand, 15% and 20% of adolescent girls who had sex before they turned 15 reported that the sex was forced. “Forced first sex is particularly common among young people…”
The report goes on but honestly I couldn’t write it all here and also I don’t need to. You know this. You might not know the facts but you know that we women are feminine grace in action and to dominate and snuff out our light is to dominate and snuff out the light of Mother Earth. We are one. Women. The Feminine. Mother Earth.
What am I talking about?
I’m talking about parts of the world sliding backwards in their respect for women.
And the world suffers greatly because of it.
The Dalai Lama said, “The world will be saved by the western woman.”
(Simply because, the western woman is free to do so, whilst some of her sisters are not.)
We have to lead this planet out of the disaster that’s being done to the feminine. Mother Earth. Mothers. Women. Us.
And Goddess? Let’s not make this another weight. Another thing to do. Quite the opposite!
It’s about jumping into the opposite vibration!
It’s about being very very good to yourself. Pick 1 thing that you’re going to do for yourself each day this week. And do it. Do it for yourself because you deserve it. Do it for the woman that can’t. And do it for the woman who doesn’t know that she can. Her. It’s time to rise up sister and do what we do best. Be WOMEN. Vulnerable, fabulous, strong, THE LIGHT. Link arms and shine our beautiful light so that this planet may rise up.
Treat yourself like a Queen. Quietly stand up after reading this newsletter and treat yourself to a beautiful rest. You deserve it. You deserve that walk. You deserve that beautiful meal you want to prepare for others – you deserve to make it just for you.
It’s about being very very good to yourself.
Breathe in. You deserve a higher standard of love for you. You deserve a higher level of respect for yourself. You deserve the sweetest love, the gentlest touch, you deserve the greatest pleasure on earth.
You deserve to UP your standards for yourself when you walk out of your door this morning, to walk with your head held up high. YOU educate the boys and men around you by the way you treat yourself. It sounds gentle, but it’s incredibly powerful the moment you begin. Start now. The boys and men who already know this will LOVE this about you. You’ll make them really happy. And the men and boys who haven’t learned this yet? Have the best chance of learning because YOU are already educating them. It’s in the way you walk. It’s in the way you talk, it’s in the way you move.
When you’re Queen you give them the best chance of treating you as one. You give the world it’s highest chance of adoring and respecting you.
There is great POWER in the feminine. The feminine is gentle, nurturing and loving. It’s the greatest strength of all.
So, I’m going to say it again. Treat yourself like a Queen. There’s never been a better time than NOW. X
